Course Description
With Christmas around the corner, now is the perfect time to learn how to make your projects stand out! Join us for this 2 day course where Elizabeth will walk you through how to add beautiful colors and stunning textures to any project!
Day 1 – you will learn how to sharpen and use your gouges plus how to create different textures
Day 2 – you will learn how to apply color to those textures
Tools/Materials Needed
-Paint – Acrylic AND Milk Paint*: we recommend picking a good variety of colors (a dark color like black and a few light colors in both types of paint.)
-Carving Gouges – sweeps 1, 3, 5, 8, 11 (Like these sets 5-piece or 9-piece)
-Sharpening supplies – wet/dry sand paper or sharpening stones in various grits from 400 to 1500
-Filbert Paint Brushes like these
