About The Team

Tyler Brokamp

Director of Marketing

Tyler is a marketing leader passionate about mental health advocacy and driving meaningful change. They currently serve as the Head of Search at Grey Matter, where they design strategies to help businesses grow. Throughout their career, they have run growth marketing programs for agencies and startups across the U.S.

With a Master’s degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati, Tyler brings both education and hands-on experience to their work.

Outside of work, Tyler stays active playing golf and pickleball, hunting for unique treasures at antique stores, and tackling DIY home projects with his wife, Isabella. These hobbies reflect his love for problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.

Tyler is excited to join the nonprofit’s mission, using their voice and experience to empower individuals and communities through better mental health support.

Scott Thomas

Director of Cyber Security

Scott brings two decades of strategy, operations, and program management experience in tech to Plane Wellness. Though his early career focused on in international development, most notably in the U.S. Peace Corps, Scott relocated to the San Francisco Bay area to pursue an MBA at Santa Clara University and has held roles in organizations of varying size and complexity from venture capital and startups to Fortune 500 companies. His passion for managing organizational risk recently led him to become an associate ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

Raised in a family with two generations of military service and around his aunt and uncle’s woodshop and antique store in Timmonsville, SC, Scott’s support for Plane Wellness’s mission was a natural, and enthusiastic choice.

A long time CrossFit and Krav Maga practitioner, he can also be found out and about in the beautiful California wilderness, usually among the peaks of Mt. Tam or the sea cliffs in Point Reyes.

Zoe Laventhol

Director of Engineering

Zoe grew up in Oakland and Berkeley, California and began her career in environmental nonprofit work in the Bay Area, where she researched and advocated to reduce harmful chemicals in consumer products, and ran an AmeriCorps program implementing community and municipal climate projects across the state of California. Her love for hands-on, practical work led her to software development in 2022, when she moved to Spain to study with CodeOp, a coding school for women, trans and nonbinary people breaking into tech. She’s been building from there ever since — continuing to work with mission-driven organizations and now bringing that commitment to Plane Wellness, where she’s excited to build digital tools for the people who build real-world things! And to build community and care in the process. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing aikido, cooking, eating, learning languages, and occasionally dancing.
