Course Description
If you don’t have the hand strength you used too or you are working on a delicate piece, power carving can unlock more options in your workshop! In this course you will learn everything you need to know about power carving and practice along side Elizabeth.
Day 1 – will focus on the different machines and what different burs do. You will then learn how to create the different textures on a practice panel.
Day 2 – you will learn how add color to those textures to really make your projects stand out!
Tools/Materials Needed
Paint – Acrylic or Milk Paint
Power Carver* – Recommended: Mighty Marathon / Other Option: Dremel
Carbide Burs* – Like these
Tungsten Tooth Ball* – Like this

Materials Needed:
8″ x 8″ hardwood board about 1/2″ – 3/4″ thick (recommended: maple, cherry, or walnut)
