The handle includes two inlaid brass flourishes, each secured with 1/16″ stainless steel pins. The upper and lower bosses are fastened with #0-80 countersunk bolts, and two brass wedges with epoxy lock it all together for a seamless, solid fit. In all, 23 individual pieces come together in this meticulously crafted mallet—every part made with the same care and precision as a full-sized tool.
The mallet is about 5 3/4″ long and weights 2.8 oz. The head is about 2 1/8″ long. This mallet is ready for use and can be used to adjust small planes or spokeshaves as well as using it with the Veritas Miniature tools!
This raffle will close on August 23rd at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Jamie Harpster will go live on the Plane Wellness Facebook page on August 24th at 4:00 p.m. Eastern to randomly draw the winner.
The winner will receive an email to confirm their shipping address and then tracking information for when the mallet ships. Free shipping within the Continental United States (CONUS), outside of the CONUS the winner will be responsible for shipping and any duties or fees. The mallet will be shipped via USPS.
